How 'bout you? Windows up or down? -GRROWL Interstates / 80+ mph and long trips = windows up (so I'm still able to hear some music !) ------------------ More 'Pumpkin' photos . . . . . More cars and other stuff New pictures in Personal Scrapbook (02/23/03) "The Prowler is not a car to go from Point A to Point B. The Prowler is the Point!" ------------------ The other thing I have seen that kills me is the number of convertibles (other than Prowler) who put their top down, front windows down, but leave the back windows up? What's up with that?? ------------------ This message has been edited by MDProwler on 06-20-2004 at 08:30 PM How 'bout you? Windows up or down? old subject, SAME RESPONSE I told my daughter that if I caught her driving her `92 Mustang convertible with the top down and windows up I would sell the car. I feel there should be a FEDERAL law that it is illegal to drive a convertible with the top down and windows up and the car can be impounded on site until the driver attends a cool car class on the PROPER way to drive a convertible. IF you window is broke, get it fixed, BUT leave the top up until it is repaired. IF it is too cold to have the windows down when the top is down PUT THE TOP UP......YOU ARE A GEEK AND DO NOT DESERVE THE CAR This is not to offend anyone. This is my opinion ------------------ -GRROWL IF it is too cold to have the windows down when the top is down PUT THE TOP UP......YOU ARE A GEEK AND DO NOT DESERVE THE CAR You're a bit behind the times, wc. The Federal Law WAS passed in the 50's, just as you described. -GRROWL Bro, you had me in tears! I can't wait to get my cat. The windows are down unless I am talking on the cell phone while cruising at Interstate speeds. I did raise the passenger side once because my duaghter was trying to sleep in the passenger seat. ------------------ This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 06-21-2004 at 09:29 AM the car TOOOOOO me the looks very sharp with windows up, kewl that is, when I had mine I liked the LLFMBOX look, Larry we agreed,,, ------------------ Marty what is interstate cruising speed anyway? At the Stampede I was going 85+ and you were pulling away!! Also my son brought me the lights - Thanks. This message has been edited by blubyu on 06-22-2004 at 06:26 AM Larry........how do you REALLY feel about it? LOL! rsterling78 I notice a number of people drive convertibles with the top down but with the side windows up. I always have my side windows down when the top is down on my Prowler. GRROWL It's illegal to drive a Prowler with the top-down and the windows-up. DUSTI Highways and "short" trips = windows down SuperKat Ditto
Dusti has it right in our book.pumpkin Go along with Oliver. But since my windows are tinted and my air patrol is tinted, it looks good with the windows up. When I am in a car show they are up.

"I may have to grow older, but I do not have to grow up!"cnote6 Its rare for me to have the top down???? BeWare Windows down unless its cold enough to run the heater and then up to keep the heat inside. Unless the boss says she wants the windows up for some reason CTProwler Down----Unless its below 40 out! CJ If I am going to drive with the convertible top down, the windows are not going to be up!! I've never understood this. Dave Mills We never have the windows up if the top is down. If conditions do not warrant the windows being down, we keep the top up. Steve Conley During the first year that I owned the Prowler I never had the top or windows up. Even in the dead of winter when it got down to a bonechilling 45 degrees. The neighbors just assumed it didn't have any. But now I have a really cool hardtop and I am torn between the two. MDProwler Top?
What top?

I always drive with the windows down.when the top is up,usually the windows are up also!Dale Beaman I agree Top down Windows down! I usually have my windows down with the top up because they are tinted very, very dark and it feels too closed in with the windows up. CJ quote:
